Manheim , a Cox Automotive brand, is seeking a Field Sales Executive/Senior Client Solutions Executive to join our innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity for a remote field sales professional who will be the primary point of contact for our valued dealer clients within Inventory Solutions.

You will travel to client locations 4-5 days a week to develop strong relationships, introduce solution-based selling, and provide valuable lead generation through consultations with a focus on transacting both in-lane and digitally.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop a strategic sales approach to retain and expand revenue from a dedicated book of business utilizing the Cox Automotive suite.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across various departments and auction locations to enhance client service and experience.
  • Identify growth opportunities with key accounts and work alongside sales teams to successfully close deals.
  • Partner with marketing and promotions teams to explore additional growth avenues for clients.
  • Achieve monthly sales quotas and goals to enhance compensation.
  • Offer value-added solutions to assist clients in consistently exceeding their sales objectives.
  • Focus on selling solution-oriented products throughout Cox Automotive within your designated accounts.
  • Utilize consultative solutions selling to provide clients with On-Site support.
  • Understand the dynamics of auction and Inventory Solutions effectively to better serve client needs.
  • Leverage Salesforce for effective selling and as a vital informational tool.
  • Maintain knowledge of all Cox Automotive wholesale solutions to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
  • Self-manage and adapt comfortably to various work environments including client locations and auction sites.

Who You Are:

Minimum required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 4 years of experience in automotive, auction, wholesale, or internet sales/service. Alternatively, a master's degree with 2 years of experience, a Ph.D. with up to 1 year of experience, or a total of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Proficient in sales and marketing techniques and industry best practices.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in automotive, auction, wholesale, or internet sales/service.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and servicing an account list.
  • Proven ability to develop existing accounts.
  • Familiarity with SalesForce.com for data tracking and reporting.
  • Willingness to conduct field visits to dealerships and auction sites.

Compensation ranges from USD 69,000.00 - 103,400.00 annually, plus an annual incentive/commission target of $32,000.00. The base salary may vary based on location and candidate expertise.
