About the Role
As a Structural Engineer you will:
n- n
- Lead and assist in the analysis, design, and review of various bridge, waterfront and other industrial structures, including:n
- n
- Energy and aerospace industry facilities n
- Vehicle and pedestrian bridges n
- Gangways and trestles n
- Marine terminals, docks, harbors and marinas n
n - Oversee the preparation of detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD. n
- Conduct and manage inspections and condition assessments of existing structures, producing thorough technical reports with actionable recommendations. n
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects, including site-civil design, surveying, geotechnical engineering, and permitting. n
- Contribute to project management, client communication, and proposal preparation to support business development. n
Qualifications
nWe are seeking candidates with:
n- n
- A bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis from an ABET-accredited institution (M.S. ). n
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. n
- At least 4-5 years of experience in structural analysis and design, ideally with bridges and/or waterfront structures. n
- Proficiency with structural analysis software (e.g., RISA 3D, SAP) and AutoCAD. n
- A strong understanding of structural loads, load paths, relevant design codes/standards, and construction practices. n
- Experience with structural steel, concrete, wood, and masonry design. n
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills. n
- A collaborative approach to project work and a desire to mentor junior team members. n
- Willingness to travel occasionally for fieldwork and client meetings. n
- A valid U.S. drivers license, a good driving record, and vehicle insurance. n
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. n
