Position Summary
nThe Senior Aircraft Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and documentation for modifications, upgrades and overhauls of electrical systems to support the sustainment and modification of rotary-wing and fixed-wing (turboprop) aircraft.

- Perform detailed analysis and design of avionics and electrical systems of the aircraft n
- Ensure a high level of operational performance and compliance with operational, safety, regulatory, and reliability requirements n
- Integrate and test solutions through a System Integration Laboratory (SIL). n
- Develop layouts, drawings, and designs according to engineering specifications in order to obtain civil or military airworthiness approvals. n
- Participate in technical reviews of aircraft systems and update designs and implementation strategies to meet cost, schedule, and quality restrictions n
- Actively interface with customers, vendors and coworkers to ensure a cooperative development effort n

- Ability to perform individual assignments with minimal supervision and deliver high-quality work products. n
- Well versed in designing electronics to meet military and civil aerospace specifications, such as MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, ISO-9001/AS9100, and FAA regulations. n
- Proficiency in CAD programs (AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks). n
- Excellent written and oral communications skills and technical presentation skills. n
- Previous experience with test procedures and analysis development. n
- Broad technical and analytical engineering experience as applied to design, analysis, product qualification, acceptance test procedures, and technical writing. n
- In-depth understanding of engineering document control /review processes, configuration, and data management/product lifecycle management processes (CDM / PLM), and QMS. n
Education and Experience
n- n
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a four-year college or university, or equivalent education and training. n
- Fifteen (15) or more years of hands-on experience in the design, integration, and documentation of military or civil rotary-wing and fixed-wing (turboprop) aircraft. n
Desired Requirements

- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. n
- Experience developing aircraft Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) and/or FAA Form 337 n
