Medstar Health is looking for a Diagnostic Technologist to join our team! This is a part-time position every other weekend Every other weekend Sat and Sunday evenings from 3p-1:30am. 10 hours per week. We are looking for for a registered Radiology Technologist with exce llent commun ication skills. The Diagnostic Technologist will make a difference on our team by performing diagnostic medical radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures through interpretation. P rimary Duties :
* Acquires ordered images including evaluating these images for tec hnical quality. Sends images to appropriate destinations for interpretation. * Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Reports any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions. Maintains X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order. Performs preventative maintenance regularly. * Obtains patient history, answers patient questions, and explains procedures . Transports patients to radiographic room and prepares and maintains room. * Performs radiographic examinations. Prepares written documentation such as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports. * Requests and will order supplies .
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED . * Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology ( ARRT) in the State of Maryland. * Basic Life Support (BLS). * Associate degree preferred.
This position has a hiring range of $29.15 - $46.99
