Torani is growing, and we're refining our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to be sharper, faster, and more accurate than ever. This is a critical time for our business, and we're looking for a Production Planner who's ready to roll up their sleeves and get into the details of supporting this important work.In this role, you'll own the co-manufacturing production planning side of our S&OP process-when questions come up about our co-manufactured inventory, you're the one with the answers. You approach planning with clear communication, a positive attitude, and laser-sharp attention to detail. You're passionate about data and analytics, and you bring the ability to compile, interpret, and act on large data sets. You're an Excel power user and ERP expert (bonus if you've worked with Oracle), and you know how to get the most out of these systems. We're growing fast, and we want people who grow with us, people who lead with purpose, learn with curiosity, and love what they do.SUCCESS FACTORS (12-18 months): Co-Manufacturing Production Planning: On a monthly basis you are creating and revising a new production plan which maps 90 days out and a rolling 12 months for the multiple Co-manufacturing (Co-man) partners we work with. Your collaboration with the Torani Co-man team results in a fine-tuned and accurate plan - so you can confidently issue the POs to the Co-mans for the following month in adherence to the plan. As changes are made, you present out the business case for the adjustments in the recurring S&OP supply meeting. You've also created a full annual production and inventory model for each Co-man to support the monthly planning process that follows. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in both planning cycles and recurring meetings ensures supply risks and opportunities are well communicated and documented. S&OP Process Key Contributor: You play a pivotal role of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, which balances production and inventory levels with market demand. With ninja-like communication skills, you notify appropriate team members to support problem resolution. You do all of this proactively to enable your team to stay one-step ahead of the risks and challenges. You identify and elevate concerns about the forecast with an appropriate sense of urgency to gain and document cross functional alignment. As a result, Torani's customers are rewarded with uninterrupted flavors. Scenario Planning and Analysis: You have a full grasp of the parameters that feed the planning system (we use Arkieva) and regularly monitor the outputs of the system to validate if it's functioning at optimal levels to meet business needs. With this information you support the creation of multiple planning scenarios by ensuring system data including inventory and production schedule attainment is up to date and accurate. When there are capacity shortages at one of our Co-mans, you communicate with the team in time to develop solutions before it creates an issue. This helps the team make informed decisions and maintain outstanding supply planning. Supply Chain Performance Reporting: You develop and maintain reports that provide visibility on the status of performance, adherence-to-schedule, delivery commitments and production problems. You translate this information into actionable steps that lead to improved processes for continued improvement and growth.
