Contract Pueblo of Acoma, NM Description Are you a Licensed Clinical Social Worker seeking a rewarding contract opportunity where your clinical expertise helps change lives? The New Sunrise Regional Treatment Center (NSRTC), located in the Pueblo of Acoma, NM, is looking for a compassionate and experienced LCSW to join our behavioral health team. This contract position offers the chance to provide meaningful care to Native American adolescents in a culturally responsive, trauma-informed environment. About the Opportunity: As our Contract LCSW, you'll support the delivery of integrated behavioral health services within a multidisciplinary residential treatment center. You will provide therapeutic services, case management, discharge planning, and community collaboration to support clients affected by substance use, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Position Details: Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am4:30 pm (OT may be available with prior approval) Setting: Residential adolescent treatment center at NSRTC Contract Type: Full-time 1099 contract Length: Base year with four option years, subject to background clearance Start Date: As soon as federal clearance is completed Local candidates welcome Key Responsibilities: Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions to adolescent clients Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and clinical evaluations Develop and implement treatment and discharge plans in coordination with the behavioral health team Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed Coordinate with internal providers and external agencies to ensure continuity of care Engage in outreach services including telehealth and community-based visits when appropriate Complete timely and thorough documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system Participate in case staffing, treatment team meetings, and quality assurance activities Provide culturally competent care by incorporating tribal traditions and values into treatment Educate families and support systems about behavioral health needs and recovery options Qualifications: Social Work degree from a CSWE-accredited institution Active, unrestricted LCSW license in any U.S. state or territory Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in behavioral health, preferably with adolescents Experience in substance use, trauma-informed care, and dual diagnosis treatment Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must pass a Level I and II fingerprint-based federal background investigation Knowledge of DSM and ICD criteria and behavioral health best practices Experience with Native American or tribal health systems preferred Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong documentation and organizational skills Proficient in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily in the United States Willing to comply with all state, federal, and IHS regulations for social work services Must complete required IHS training, including child protection, trauma-informed care, and security awareness Why Work With Us?
