About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Development Officer (CDO) to spearhead a transformative fundraising strategy. The CDO will be responsible for designing and leading the overall development strategy, with a focus on significantly growing annual revenue and ensuring long-term sustainability. This includes the identification, cultivation, and stewardship of major donors, as well as the implementation of innovative fundraising tools and systems. The role also involves building and scaling a high-performing development team, maintaining strong communication and reporting on fundraising progress, and championing a culture of fundraising across the organization.

The ideal candidate for the CDO position at the company is an entrepreneurial leader with a proven ability to build relationships and inspire action. Strong communication and storytelling skills are essential, as is a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strategic approach. While a conventional development path is not required, experience in fundraising strategy, donor engagement, or CRM tools is a plus. The candidate should have a deep passion for the mission of the company, particularly in the areas of Jewish advocacy and campus engagement, and be willing to travel for key donor meetings and events.
