Position Purpose As a Payment Services Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and processing various payment services. You will handle tasks related to Zelle transactions, disputes, and fraud, as well as support Visa dispute resolution, process share drafts, and balance cash advances. Your responsibilities will also include follow-up on lost/stolen cards, case sheets, and serving as the Glia contact for payment services products.

Essential Duties, Skills & Abilities Exhibit outstanding member services skills by applying Granite Credit Union Service Standards and Core Values. Manage and process Zelle payments efficiently and accurately according to established guidelines. Handle Zelle disputes and fraud cases with diligence, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Assist in managing Visa disputes under in-house minimal amount. Follow up on cards reported lost/stolen after hours and manage case sheets accordingly, while also verifying new cards added to Flex and PaymentsOne. Verify new cards added to Flex and PaymentsOne. Serve as the main point of contact for Payment Services products on Glia and assist in the Ask Payments and Cards chat for customer inquiries. Process and balance incoming and outgoing wires accurately according to established guidelines. Support and process remote deposits on Saturdays. Provide backup support for ACH origination, ACH processing, and bill pay services. Support remote deposits processing on Saturdays and serve as backup for ACH origination, ACH processing, and bill pay services as needed. Process share drafts and exceptions. Assist in Ask Payments and Cards chat. Ensure that all information and transactions regarding Credit Union members are kept confidential. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards all individuals, including employees, members, management staff, board members, and external vendors. Maintain the security of the work area and keep it organized and neat in appearance. Attend meetings as required. Promote a professional appearance and attitude. Other duties as assigned. Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Required Knowledge and Experience High attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Experience with Zelle, Visa disputes, wire processing, and ACH transactions is preferred. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, etc.

Education 1-2 years of training and experience in the financial industry. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
