motivated, experienced Assistant Operations Director
to join our leadership team! This is an exciting opportunity for a confident early childhood professional who is ready to grow with a thriving school and make a lasting impact on children, families, and educators.
As the
Assistant Operations Director , youll play a key leadership role in supporting the Director with day-to-day school operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and enriching learning environment. This includes staff supervision, curriculum support, family engagement, and maintaining compliance with licensing regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support Assist in overseeing daily school operations, including scheduling, documentation, and compliance with policies and procedures.
Staff Management Support the recruitment, training, development, and supervision of teaching staff to ensure a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Curriculum and Program Development Assist in implementing our proprietary
Wonder of Learning
curriculum, which encourages creativity, exploration, and a lifelong love of learning.
Family and Community Engagement Cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with families and serve as a trusted point of contact and support.
Health and Safety Oversight Conduct safety drills, ensure emergency preparedness, and maintain compliance with all state licensing and safety requirements.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree or higher
in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assistant Director
in a licensed early childhood education setting
Strong knowledge of early learning standards, classroom management, and child development best practices
Proven leadership and team-building abilities
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Passion for working with young children and commitment to delivering high-quality education and care
Must pass all required state background checks and meet licensing requirements
