The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, building, and nurturing strategic alliances that drive growth, particularly with a focus on OEM or platform partners and resellers. This role requires close collaboration with sales, marketing, product, and leadership teams to ensure that partnerships align with the company's objectives and deliver significant value. The VP of Partnerships will also be tasked with strategic partnership development, including the identification, evaluation, and securing of partnerships with various entities in the payments and authentication landscape. Key responsibilities include leading negotiations, managing partnership contracts, and tracking performance to ensure the success of the partner ecosystem. Candidates for this role should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances within the fintech, payments, or financial services sectors. A deep understanding of the North American payments ecosystem is essential, as is a proven history of negotiating and managing complex, high-value partnerships. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-growth company, strong leadership skills, and the ability to interact effectively with C-level executives. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA or equivalent being preferred. The role demands a strategic thinker with excellent communication and executive presence, who can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is adept at building trust and rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.
