Position: MHAS (Maternal Health Access Solution) Hybrid Clinic and On Call Role - 10 shifts / 5 shifts Hospital: Lake Regional Health System / Missouri Highlands Health Care Location: Osage Beach, MO & Poplar Bluff, MO

About: Lake Regional Family Birth Center

provides an exceptional environment for both patients and healthcare professionals. Fully equipped private suites are designed for seamless care from labor through postpartum recovery, enhancing patient comfort and satisfaction. The Level II Nursery, supported by a highly skilled team, allows for newborns needing advanced treatments such as respiratory support or IV therapies. Experienced nurses are trained in comprehensive maternity care, fostering a collaborative atmosphere throughout every stage of the birthing experience. The new program at Lake Regional Health System will allow OBHG to impact an additional 600 annual deliveries.

Missouri Highlands Health Care (MHHC)

Obstetrics & Gynecology works to improve the health care of women from the first visit of an adolescent girl to the care of a menopausal woman and everything in between. MHHC offers OB/GYN services, family planning, prenatal care, birth control, female infertility, IUD insertion, chronic vulvar & vaginal conditions, STD infections, endometriosis, low & high-risk pregnancy, and menopausal care. Missouri Highlands Health Care currently sees approximately 350 annual deliveries.

What Does an OB/GYN Physicians Do? Full Scope Generalist for both inpatient and outpatient services Clinic coverage M-F Block scheduling of 5, 24 hr. shifts with an intended schedule of 5 on/ 10 off Travel expense covered Work 1/3 of the year! Caring for all pregnant women who present emergently, regardless of circumstance Cultivating relationships with staff nurses and hospital personnel Supporting private practice physicians by providing coverage and assistance Facilitating daily interdisciplinary board rounds to improve patient safety
