Join a dynamic GI hospital program in Jackson, Michigan! The Gastroenterology Division is looking for a Board Eligible/Certified Gastroenterologist with ERCP certification. Job Responsibilities:- Provide inpatient, outpatient, and clinic care.
- Grow the practice while covering for a replacement hire.
- Manage an average patient load, with APP support in both clinic and hospital settings.
- Contribute to teaching through the GME program for academic involvement.
- Apply complex knowledge of Gastroenterology to ensure excellent patient care.
- Participate in rounds and required documentation.
- Maintain certification status and adhere to organizational business practices.
- Engage in duties beyond explicit assignments as required.
- Board Eligible (must become Board Certified within a year) or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology.
- 5-8 years of GI work experience preferred.
- ERCP certification (consideration for candidates needing proctoring).
- Clean malpractice and license history.
- Current COVID and flu vaccinations.
- Valid Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- ITIL or other industry certifications preferred.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Visa support available for H1B candidates; not open to J1.
