Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive cardiology services at Mercy Hospital Fort Smith • In-house call with STEMI coverage required • Emergency/STEMI response time less than 30 minutes; general call response time within 1 hour • Average 20-25 patients per 24-hour call period with approximately 15-20 patient encounters • No admissions unless STEMI cases; all other admissions handled by hospitalist service • Must maintain an active Arkansas medical license with clean malpractice and NPDB history • Board certification required with ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications • Position starts October 6, 2025 with ongoing assignment potential • Credentialing timeframe approximately 60-90 days • Accommodations available at Homewood Suites • Nearest airports: Fort Smith Regional Airport and Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA)
