Overview
i3 is seeking a Configuration Manager to perform configuration and data management to support our MDA AIMSS contract. The Configuration Manager will define, document, and maintain the configuration documentation required to support the Authority to Operate (ATO). The Configuration Manager must have a customer centric approach and provide support for the technical and cyber team.
Responsibilities
Manage, define, and facilitate Configuration Management and Configuration Control Board processes and procedures in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.
Work with Technical Leads to provide guidance, interpret, define, and update all configuration management requirements to support the approved ATO package.
Establish configuration security guidelines to avoid unauthorized changes to approved baselines; Review and approve all changes to the configuration baselines.
Prepare and oversee completion of configuration documentation and maintain configuration management data to include the approved hardware/software baseline, STIGs, and accreditation boundary diagrams.
Monitor and audit configuration changes to hardware and software to ensure compliance with approved configuration baseline and confirm configuration management documentation is accurate, consistent, and complete.
Assist with reviews and analyzes packages and/or documentation for technical content; Provide preliminary review for authorization to release of drawings, changes, and documents.
Identifies discrepancies and assists with problem resolution.
Develop, review, maintain, and execute configuration management plans, policies, and standard operating procedures in accordance with federal mandates, NIST guidance, FISMA requirements, and organizational policies.
Identify and coordinate standardized processes and procedures for version management, system builds, backups, recovery, archiving, and change management.
Serve as a chair member for the Configuration Control Board and enact configuration changes as directed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 10 years of experience. Additional experience may substitute for education.
Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Redstone Arsenal or be willing to relocate prior to start date.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required.
