If so, Iowa State University is currently seeking applicants for an Office Research Administrator! This individual will provide research administrative support to the National Concrete Pavement Technology Center at the Institute for Transportation (CP Tech Center). This position will be classified as a Research Administrator I.
What You'll Do:
We are seeking a front office team member to participate with an active team involved with research and technology transfer. This individual will help plan and promote workshops and conferences as well as participate with researchers in tracking multi-million-dollar research agreements.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Coordinate hotel/meeting arrangements for workshops and conferences
Support budget development for workshops
Coordinate travel for meeting participants and staff
Maintain the CP Tech Center’s website
Maintain the registration sites for workshops
Create brochures for events
Assist with sponsored funding development through evaluation and communication of funding opportunities, preparation of data for proposals, etc.
Assist with post-award project and financial administration through preparation of financial reports, monitoring budgets, and reconciling accounts
This is a one-year, fixed term position with the opportunity for renewal.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
