As a Senior WIRES Programmer/ Analyst with Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR), you will lead the ongoing technical and functional support for the Oracle E-Business Suite (WIRES) system. You will also provide leadership in the design, development and support of major Oracle applications and databases within the Department of Natural Resources.
Additional position details:
This is a Remote Worker position (https://mn.gov/mmb-stat/policies/1447-remoteworker.pdf) , where the employees home address shall serve as their official work location and must be located within the continental United States. Remote work is a condition of employment.

This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience in application design and development.
Experience must include:
Experience and in depth knowledge of Oracle EBS R11 and R12.
Technical and functional experience in Oracle Financials modules General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Sub Ledger Accounting, Customers, Advanced Collections and E-Business Tax.
Oracle enterprise database experience (versions 11g to 19c), SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Plus, SQL Loader, stored procedures, complex views and security.
Data warehouse and data mart design and implementation.
Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties.
Customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.
A master's degree in Information Technology or an IT related field substitutes for three (3) years of experience, OR an IT related bachelor's degree substitutes for two (2) years, OR an IT related associate's degree substitutes for one (1) year.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong knowledge of working with Oracle-related tools such as Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, SQL Developer, Toad, Config Snapshot
Good working knowledge of Linux (RedHat, SuSE) operating systems and VMWare.
Working knowledge of Azure.
Version control and configuration management tools and procedures.
Relational database design and development.
