Responsibilities

Under general supervision and guidance:

The analyst/programmer is responsible for the support of moderately complex software-based systems in the supported areas.

Contributes to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of custom software, or the installation and maintenance of purchased software systems.

Produces documentation such as systems requirements, designs, and plans as requested by the work unit leadership.

Work will be reviewed for quality, timeliness, and adequacy at predetermined milestones.

Qualifications

Working towards a PhD in Computer Science or related Informatics field with a GPA of 3.0 or greater. Experience with Java, SQL, and XML. Note: This is a hybrid position which will require occasional travel to the main campus in Rochester, Minnesota.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
