School Food Delivery Driver – Help Fuel Young Minds! Monday–Friday (No Nights or Weekends!)
Do you enjoy being on the move and want a job that fits your schedule? Join our school nutrition team as a Delivery Driver and play a vital role in ensuring students receive the meals they need to learn and thrive!
What You’ll Do:
Safely drive a company vehicle to deliver food and supplies between schools in the district
Load and unload products with care, ensuring proper storage and delivery
Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep accurate logs and reports
Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in excellent working condition
Communicate with the central office as needed to ensure timely, accurate deliveries
Follow all local driving laws and school district policies

Education :
High School diploma required
Certifications :
Clean unblemished drivers license required
ServSafe
Other Qualifications, Experience and Competencies :
Speak, read and write in English required
1 year driving in professional role required

Use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
Be sitting driving in vehicle
Be standing on feet when not in vehicle, in addition to walking back and forth.
Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Lifting while turning side to side is frequently necessary.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Position may require extended hours including evenings and/or weekends, travel to multiple work sites.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work is performed primarily in the vehicle assigned to her/him.
Work requires movement in and out of store rooms and freezers
Exposure to extreme temperatures.
The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
