The Quality Engineer collaborates with production, engineering, and purchasing teams to maintain high-quality standards across all product lines.

Job Details
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing), quality assurance, or a related field. Experience: 2–5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in furniture manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, or related industries. Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14000, or similar standards is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, ANOVA, DOE, GD&T, MSA). Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14000) and process control plans (e.g., PFMEAs, PPAP). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with computer skills for quality reporting and data analysis (e.g., Excel, Minitab).
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Customer-centric, detail-oriented, and adaptable to change. Ability to negotiate and build relationships with suppliers and customers.
Certifications: Six Sigma Green Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or ASME/ASIE certification is preferred but not required.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift parts up to 15 pounds, work in a manufacturing environment, and occasionally travel for supplier audits or customer visits.
