As a Hyperion Essbase Developer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in guiding the design and implementation of data architecture solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency to facilitate the organization's strategic goals and drive data-driven decision-making. This position will lead the development of the financial system for the new Honeywell Aerospace Business. The roles immediate focus will be to setup a new EPM environment using a clone and cleanse strategy leveraging the following Hyperion technologies: Essbase, Hyperion Planning, FDMEE, EHM and CXO Cockpit. You will report directly to our 1 and work out of our 2 location on a 3 work schedule.
The role will require strong mix of technical and functional skills, as it will require working directly with finance stakeholders and users while delivering technical solutions. It will require management and development of a resources, plus hands on development work to meet deliverables.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by guiding a team of data architects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the development and maintenance of robust data architecture solutions. You will be accountable for ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and scalability, and for providing technical guidance and expertise in data architecture best practices.
Responsibilities may include, but is not limited to the following:
Working with Finance stakeholders to document clear functional requirements
Working with IT to translate functional requirements into clear technical requirements when necessary
Project management activities such as scoping level of work, and building technical project plans and timelines
Prepare key deliverables such as requirements documents, design documents, development inventory, test documentation, training materials and administration/procedural guides
Design and implement technical solutions
Partner with O&M team to ensure consistent solutions and clean hand-overs
Working with both finance leaders and IT to test and refine new solutions prior to implementation
Key dimensions are change management and process improvement:
Provide leadership and support to the business FP&A teams and leverage skills training and sharing of best practices
Provide excellent change management skills and passion and tenacity to make it happen
YOU MUST HAVE
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
7+ of experience working with Finance Systems
