Position Summary: We are seeking a
Program Manager
to lead a high-impact
Supply Chain Transformation
initiative within a leading energy company. This multi-year, enterprise-wide effort will drive modernization across sourcing, procurement, and supply chain operations. The Program Manager will be responsible for orchestrating strategy, stakeholder alignment, change management, and delivery across business and IT workstreams. This is a hybrid role based in Columbus, OH, with on-site presence required Tuesday through Thursday.
Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end program delivery for a complex
Supply Chain Transformation
effort spanning procurement, vendor management, and logistics operations. Define and manage the integrated program roadmap, ensuring alignment across business, technology, and operational stakeholders. Serve as the primary liaison between executive sponsors, business leaders, and delivery teams. Facilitate business process mapping, gap analysis, and future-state planning with cross-functional teams. Manage program scope, schedule, risks, and budget ($5M–$10M+), ensuring clear reporting to senior leadership. Oversee change management efforts to ensure stakeholder buy-in and successful adoption of new supply chain processes and tools. Guide project managers and matrixed teams through effective planning, delivery, and dependency management. Ensure program governance, business case tracking, and benefit realization across all workstreams. Drive coordination between internal teams and external vendors or consultants involved in the transformation.
Required Qualifications: 8+ years
of experience leading complex, enterprise-wide transformation programs. 3–5 years
of leadership experience spanning both
business and IT functions . Demonstrated success managing large-scale programs ($5M–$10M+) with multiple concurrent projects. Proven ability to lead
business process transformation , particularly within supply chain, sourcing, or procurement functions. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, especially at the
executive sponsor level . Expertise in program cost management, resource planning, and governance. Experience in
change management
for business-led transformation initiatives. Familiarity with both
waterfall and agile
project methodologies; able to adapt and lead within a hybrid delivery environment. Strong skills in business process analysis and future-state planning. Experience working in or supporting the
energy or utility industry
is a plus.
Preferred Skills: PMP or comparable program management certification Prosci or other change management certification Experience with supply chain platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle SCM, Coupa) Familiarity with regulatory considerations or compliance frameworks in the energy sector
