Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst
The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Responsibilities: Develop AI/ML Solutions: Implementation of AI/Machine Learning solutions, with a focus on Generative AI and Large Language Models, to automate critical business functions. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging analytics and technology to optimize existing processes and address pain points. Data Analysis and Modeling: Analyze large and complex datasets (internal and external) using tools like SQL, Python, PySpark, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Large Language Models to develop and implement feature-driven analytical models. LLM Pipeline Expertise: Demonstrate strong knowledge and implementation experience with Large Language Model pipelines, including pre-trained LLMs (Llama, Gemini, Mistral), GPT, RAG, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, vector databases (e.g., Chroma, FAISS), and LangChain. Ensure Risk and Control Compliance: Adhere to all Risk and Control requirements throughout the analytics and technical processes, including documentation, testing, and ongoing performance monitoring. Effective Communication: Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Qualifications: 5-8 years of relevant experience. Proven AI/ML Experience: 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in the AI/ML domain, preferably within the finance or risk analytics field. Strong Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark for data processing and analysis. LLM Expertise: Demonstrated experience building and deploying LLM-based solutions, including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and integrating with vector databases. Analytical Mindset: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Communication and Collaboration: Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
