SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHICIAN

Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Engineering Technician in the Utilities & Energy Branch (PRW32) of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the performance of utility operations within the site. You will utilize MAXIMO to manage, track and document work to include a preventive maintenance program. You will prepare narrative reports, production summaries, and financial status reports. You will be responsible for the full range of utility technical support. You will manage using sound business practices to ensure the utility commodities are delivered in a safe, reliable, and the most cost-effective manner possible. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Supervising work operations, managing a team of engineering technicians, overseeing the technical aspects of projects and ensuring the efficient functioning of systems and equipment; 2) Troubleshooting complex engineering issues and offering solutions to technical problems; 3) Overseeing the maintenance and repair of engineering systems and equipment; 4) Ensuring that work is completed according to established standards and procedures; 5) Reviewing utility system drawings, contract specifications, the identification and evaluation of utility studies; Utilizes MAXIMO to manage, track and document work to include a preventive maintenance program.
