As a Sr. Systems Analyst - Customer Digital Technologies, you will be tasked to deliver on key strategic objectives. You will be critical in ensuring different software systems integrate and scale well to render industry leading user experiences. You will also contribute at different phases of software development, work with world class vendors, software providers and cater to internal stakeholders at various levels of the organization. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who has high energy, is a self-starter and can work with little guidance on software projects that have tangible impact in the real world.

What you'll do:

Act as the primary technical point of contact for a broad range of software enhancements. Help determine scope and negotiate trade-offs for solutions, especially in early stage project discussions

Build a thorough end-to-end understanding of API call chains and other points of integration for company websites, mobile app, marketing automation and AI enabled productivity initiatives.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with strategic objectives

Clarify business requirements and identify gaps in technical specifications and provide risk trade-offs to stakeholders

Assist in all phases of development and deployment of system enhancements to ensure security, scalability and performance of systems

Partner with IT Operations, Infrastructure and Security groups to architect solutions that are secure, robust and scalable.

Diagnose and resolve complex system integration challenges

Provide rapid, precise technical troubleshooting during high-intensity conference calls and help perform root cause analysis across systems

Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for system improvements

Conduct working sessions to improve the team's understanding of software systems

Research and follow latest security requirements, software trends and perform best-practice research to support team goals.

Be trusted to generate ideas and move concepts into programming solutions.

Take on problems that are not yet fully defined and assist in framing problems so others can engage more easily.

Foresee hurdles and risks to projects early on and negotiate steps to mitigate such risks.

Research, recommend and implement best security practices, especially OWASP top 10

Create and maintain technical documentation including: support knowledge base, data sources, data flows, application logic, enhancement/issue logs, hardware/software architecture, and other project documents.

Responsible for other tasks related to assigned systems.

Requirements:

6+ years in programmer analyst or systems analyst role

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related Mathematics, Engineering and Business Management fields or equivalent experience.

Strong understanding of systems integration concepts with working knowledge in

SQL programming like DB2, SQL Server

No SQL databases like Redis, Mongo would be preferred

Data warehouse and data lakes like Snowflake

Cloud (AWS) and on-prem systems setup would be preferred

Strong critical thinking and analytical skills

Strong understanding of web applications and consuming web services

Strong understanding of various ETL and data replication concepts

OLAP v. OLTP and the tradeoffs between the two

Hands-on software troubleshooting experience while under pressure.

Effectively communicate complex concepts, diagnose systems issues with team members, different IT groups and vendors, both verbal and written

Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve system integration challenges

Rapidly absorb complex technical and/or conceptual information.

Anticipate issues and provide solutions for complex problems.

Balance a self-motivated, independent work ethic with intense cross-functional collaboration needed to drive project success.

Experienced with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and related productivity tools

Excellent project management and documentation abilities

Some project-related travel is expected 2-3 times per year.

Hybrid work - expected schedule of: M, F remote, Tu, W, Th in office.
