Description Position Title: Manual Machinist Location: Cincinnati, OH (Hamilton, OH) Shift: Four-day workweek, Monday-Thursday, 6:30 AM-4:30 PM Compensation: $20-$28/hr depending on experience + OT eligible Benefits: Health and dental coverage, 401K, paid holidays, PTOPosition Description:Seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join a team that values precision, safety, and quality. You will set up and operate manually controlled machines including lathes, mills, drill presses, and saws to produce precision components.Responsibilities:Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible mannerReview drawings, blueprints, or samples for accurate productionOperate manual machines: lathes, mills, drill press, hydraulic press, band/chop sawsUse precision measuring tools: micrometers (ID & OD), dial gauges, threading wires, pitch gaugesSelect and align holding fixtures, cutting tools, and accessoriesPerform machining setups using jigs, blocks, and fixturesMaintain and clean machines and work area regularlyComply with all quality and safety policiesPerform other duties as assignedSkills & Abilities:Proficient in using:Engine lathe, vertical/horizontal mill, drill press, band sawMicrometers, calipers (digital, dial, vernier), pitch gaugesAbility to:Determine proper thread sizes using machinist handbookMeasure parts and fabricate replacementsMachine/chase threadsPerform basic math including fractions and ratiosRead and interpret technical documentsExperience Required:Minimum 1 year operating engine lathes, vertical/horizontal mills, band saws, and drill pressesPreferred: Experience with thread measurement and various calipers and micrometersEducation:High School Diploma or GED (preferred)Additional Requirements:Legally eligible to work in the U.S.Must be able to work scheduled four-day, 10-hour shiftsValid driver's license (if applicable)Must pass pre-employment testingMust be able to read, write, and speak English
