Description:Works under the supervision of Fabrication Shop Manager and Fabrication Shop ForemanPerforms various fabrication shop duties at the direction of Fabrication Shop ForemanAttends all safety and training as required Acquires qualification in use of material handling equipmentPrepares material for fabrication including cutting and grinding of pieces as well as selection of appropriate hand and /or power tools for such workResponsible for accurate layout and fit-up of component parts for final welded assembly using engineered construction/shop drawingsHourly employee, excellent benefitsQualifications:General knowledge of and experience in steel fabrication in a production shop environmentKnowledge of and/or experience in SMAW (Shielded Metal) and FCAW (Flux Cored) arc weldingPossess a professional, safe and cooperative work place demeanorPass drug screen, clean background checkCompensation and Benefits: 401(k) program with company match up to10% of payFamily medical, dental and vision insurancePaid time off and other benefitsBarnhart CARES family care and community service opportunitiesPURPOSE - Barnhart is built on a strong foundation of serving others.
