Job DescriptionTravel Emergency Room Respiratory Therapist - Charlotte, NCContract Length: 13 WeeksCompensation: Up to $2,550 per week (based on experience)Schedule: 12-hour shifts | Day: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM | Night: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM | Weekend rotation every other weekend | No on-callConnected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a premier healthcare facility in Charlotte, NC, to find an experienced Travel Emergency Room Respiratory Therapist. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced emergency setting, providing life-saving respiratory care to patients of all ages.Job Responsibilities: Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders in the emergency department Administer oxygen, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis Manage and monitor ventilators and other advanced respiratory support systems Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers for optimal patient outcomes Document all treatments and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelinesEducation & Certification Requirements: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) North Carolina state licensure Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care settingPreferred Skills & Qualities: Strong critical thinking skills and ability to remain calm under pressure Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Experience in high-volume emergency departments preferredWhy You'll Love This Assignment:You'll be joining a highly regarded emergency team committed to patient-centered care and professional excellence.
