Position Summary:

n

HII: Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced System Integration Lab (SIL) Engineer capable of fully integrating vehicle electronics, hardware, and software in a secure networked environment. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Work will generally be prefromed remotely, but this position requires onsite work as needed at The United States Army Ground Vehicle System Center (GVSC) located in Warren, MI, so our preferred candidates will be local or open to relocating.

What we are looking for: Minimum Qualifications

n

n
• n

  5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.

• n

  Experience working with DoD, and/or US Fed Government agency

  n
n
• n

  A US secret security clearance is required at hire

  n
n

Physical Requirements

• n

  Office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving materials may be required.

  Must have the ability to work on site in Warren, MI when needed
