This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company's locations: Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club, which is located outside of Austin, TX.
Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club is seeking a Sales Coordinator to join the Sales Department. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all activities relating to selling properties within the development and project. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals enthusiastic about real estate and dedicated to delivering an outstanding experience to clients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Address Inquiries from clients, borrowers, agents, and internal staff professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain open communications with team members and team leader.
  • Sharpen skills in drone photography for both sales and development needs.
  • Attend all relevant development meetings, adding sales input as needed and documenting actionable items.

  • Maintain sales signage, lot corners, and lot conditioning for available home sites.
  • Ensure that touring routes are established and easy to navigate for sales tours.
  • Manage incoming calls from members, guests and prospects and provide prompt follow-through and response.
  • Provide administrative support to the Sales, Development and Leadership teams, and Discovery Texas Realty, LLC.
  • Assist Sales and Leadership teams with various projects as requested, including forecasting, planning, daily operations, and general analysis.
  • Collaborate with Member Services to coordinate general functions and schedule sales tours.
  • Ensure the Sales Office is stocked and show ready, sales aids and vehicles are kept clean, orderly and in good working order.
  • Help coordinate various vendors, contractors, and staff during special marketing events.
  • Help support and manage marketing, promotional and sales strategies.
  • Coordinate marketing, promotional, and sales activities with the marketing manager, members of the Sales Team and Discovery.
  • Deliver prospects and sales, and report progress toward achieving the results as requested.
  • Assisting Sales in updating the CRM following every contact with a new or existing prospect.
  • Assist in drafting all necessary contracts and documentation to facilitate closings.
  • Ensure the activity report is updated following each property tour.
  • Keep detailed personal records of all written and verbal communications with prospects.
  • Continually update sales team of interaction with prospects.
  • Ensure that touring routes are established and easy to navigate for sales tours.
  • Flexible schedule and regular weekend management required.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • College degree preferred. Additional real estate education or certifications are a plus.
  • Previous experience in real estate sales or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. New or aspiring agents are welcome.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with clients.
  • Familiarity with the local real estate market, neighborhoods, and property values.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office, real estate software, CRM systems, and other relevant technology tools.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed in a team sales-driven environment.
  • Adherence to ethical standards and a commitment to fair and honest dealings with clients.

  • Cheerful outlook, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and people skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
  • Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a shift greater than eight (8) hours in length.
