nThe Manufacturing Engineer is tasked with reviewing, maintaining, and revising work instructions and standard operating procedures for the production team. This role involves close collaboration between the design and production teams to identify and resolve manufacturing issues, ensuring documentation is updated to prevent future problems. The engineer will support quality issues through root cause analysis and CAPA management and may also be involved in prototype building for new devices and assessing designs for manufacturability. This position is fully onsite with a standard 8-5 schedule.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, or industrial).

2+ years of experience as a manufacturing engineer or process engineer.

3+ years of experience creating, revising, and editing SOPs or work instructions.
n n - n
3+ years of experience in root cause analysis and CAPA management.
n n - n
3+ years of experience with reading mechanical and electrical drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to solder is helpful.

Experience in a regulated industry such as medical device or biotechnology.

Work Environment
nThe work environment involves working closely between production and engineering teams in a company that manufactures automated sampling systems, dispensing systems, and liquid handlers for the bioprocessing industry. The team includes a Production Manager, Inventory Manager, three production assemblers, and two clean room assemblers, with an overall company size of 15 people. nPay and Benefits
nThe pay range for this position is $33.65 - $40.87/hr.
