The Opportunity:

Join our team in support of the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) contract and contribute to empowering the Department of Defense's navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission. Your role will ensure positioning, navigation, and timing superiority by providing combatant commanders and joint force commanders with subject matter expertise on planning and conducting NAVWAR. You will offer knowledge of friendly and enemy NAVWAR Order of Battle and PNT-related successes and threats.

Responsibilities:

Work with simulations that include technical analyses and assessments to develop recommendations and maintain system integration labs, facilities, and analysis tools.

Conduct modeling and simulation (M&S) activities in support of analyses, exercises, wargames, and experiments conducted by the Government.

Provide instruction, supervision, and guidance on the proper operation and use of simulation models and exercises.
n
n
Support live, constructive, or virtual training as needed.
n
n
Utilize RF modeling and simulation software to manipulate antenna and power models that visualize GPS denial in potentially affected areas.
n
n
Exhibit proficiency with some or all of the following: GIANT, GIANT RPM, Builder, Systems Toolkit (STK), or other modeling and simulation programs.

Qualifications:

Required:

n
An active DoD Secret clearance.
n
n
10 years of relevant M&S experience.
n
n
A bachelor's degree in Modeling and Simulation, Computer Science, Math, or a related field.
n
n
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
n
n
Strong attention to detail.
n

Desired:

n
Apprentice Certified Modeling & Simulation Professional (CMSP) or equivalent
n
n
Ability to work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment
n

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,800 - $180,200
