    Location: 696 Hampshire Rd Suite 200 Westlake Village, Ca 91361
    Also float to this 2nd location: 6801 Park Terrace, LA 90045 (at least 1-2 days/week)
    Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday 8 hours, 7:30-3:30 / 8:00-4:00 / 8:30-4:30
    Weekends/Holidays Required: Possibly with LA RAMS sports support
    Ideal Candidates: experienced MA who knows how to draw blood, is personable, and has excellent customer service.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program OR national certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, or MMCI.
    • Demonstrated ability to prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests, taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature, and reporting patient history summaries
    • 2 years working as an MA
    • Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture
    • BLS
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • 2+ years working as an MA in an outpatient clinic
    • Experience with CS-Link/Epic
    • Experience with Quest Diagnostic laboratory submissions
    • Phlebotomy certification
    • Understanding of medical terminology
    • Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans
    • Casting experience
    Job Duties:
    • Greet patients, take appropriate vital signs, review current meds, and record in the medical record
    • Assist with tracking and monitoring department-specific data
    • Explain policies, procedures, or services to patients based on scope of practice
    • Set up exam/procedure rooms appropriate to the patient visit needs
    • Clean and re-process equipment and supplies following department guidelines
    • Administer immunizations, injections, or oral medications as directed by the provider
    • Draw and prepare designated lab work or specimens as directed by the provider

  • Required at time of submission : Two supervisor references from within the last year, all relevant certifications (check JD for specifics), Nursys report dated within the last two weeks showing all licensed states, and a copy of COVID vaccination card.
  • Locals : Locals are accepted unless otherwise stated in the job title. A reduced local rate applies for MA's & LVN's ONLY.
  • Licensure : LVN's must have a valid IV certification at the time of submission. MA's must have a certification from an accredited school listed on the DAPIP website ( or an accepted national cert through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, or MMCI. Temp RN/LVN licensures not accepted. Valid perm California license must be in hand at time of submission.
  • Time off :RTO must be 7 days or less and not within the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
  • Float Requirement : Please review specific job posting for details and confirm with traveler that they are willing to be flexible. Float locations will be listed if required.
  • Return Staff Policy : Previous perm employees must be separated from any Cedars Sinai facility for 1 year before they are eligible to apply for travel positions at CSMN/HHP. All past Cedars employment (travel, staff, etc.) MUST be included on profile. This includes Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Cedars Marina Del Rey, Torrance Memorial, Cedars-Sinai Medical Network (CSMN), Huntington Health Physicians (HHP) and Huntington Hospital.
