JOB OVERVIEW
The Director of Integrated Digital Strategy is responsible for leading a unified, cross-channel digital approach across the Coury Hospitality portfolio. This role ensures brand.com performance, paid media, SEO, website content, and digital partnerships work in harmony to drive direct bookings, brand engagement, and strong ROI. By connecting strategy across platforms and channels, the Director transforms digital marketing from a set of siloed tactics into a cohesive ecosystem that supports brand identity and commercial success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Integrated Digital Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and lead a holistic digital marketing strategy that integrates SEO, content, paid media, website experience, and third-party platforms into a single, high-performing ecosystem.
  • Partner with Sales, Revenue Management, PR, and on-property Marketing teams to ensure digital efforts are aligned with broader business objectives and guest experience goals.
  • Serve as the senior strategist for digital performance, bringing together insights from multiple platforms to guide marketing investment and innovation.
Brand Website (SEO & Content) Oversight:
  • Guide the creation and optimization of brand.com content and SEO strategy to drive qualified traffic and improve rankings.
  • Ensure messaging, offers, and on-site content are consistent with integrated campaigns and contribute to brand positioning and conversion.
  • Maintain a user-first approach across all websites, connecting page experience, accessibility, and conversion goals.
Brand-Led Offers & Communications:
  • Lead execution of promotional offers across digital channels and ensure content aligns with brand standards.
  • Work with marketing and operations teams to communicate hotel packages, events, and seasonal promotions effectively online.
Digital Advertising & Campaign Management:
  • Oversee paid media strategies, including Google Ads, social media ads, and Expedia TravelAds, with support from internal teams and agency partners.
  • Manage Koddi platform campaigns (e.g. Direct and OTA), oversee bidding strategies, and coordinate with Koddi support and partners to ensure high visibility and optimized cost-per-click and CPA performance.
  • Allocate digital budget across platforms based on performance and ROI goals.
Agency & Partner Management
  • Provide strategic leadership and accountability for all digital marketing partners and platforms supporting Coury Hospitality's portfolio.
  • Set clear goals, deliverables, and performance expectations for each partner to ensure alignment with company objectives and KPIs.
  • Lead regular check-ins, reporting reviews, and planning sessions to evaluate effectiveness, optimize strategies, and strengthen collaboration.
  • Ensure partner efforts are integrated with brand strategy, guest experience goals, and cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Stay proactive in identifying new digital partners or solutions that can elevate marketing performance and guest engagement.
Performance Measurement & KPI Optimization:
  • Establish and monitor KPIs including ROI, direct booking conversion, traffic, and CPA.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly reporting for senior leadership using analytics tools such as Google Analytics/GA4 and Koddi reporting dashboards.
  • Continuously refine strategies and budget allocations based on performance data.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Supervise and mentor the Director of Digital Marketing, ensuring successful execution of all digital projects.
  • Collaborate with on-property Curators and GMs to support individual property goals.
  • Partner with the Senior VP and Corporate Director of Marketing to align digital initiatives with PR, social, and creative strategies.
Industry Trends & Innovation:
  • Stay up to date on emerging digital marketing trends, tools, and hospitality-specific innovations.
  • Explore and test new digital opportunities to drive performance, excluding CRM and loyalty marketing which are managed separately.
  • Lead ideation for innovative digital growth strategies within the corporate and property teams.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Most work is completed independently in a professional office setting, with periodic travel to properties or industry events. Some flexibility in remote/hybrid work may be accommodated. Occasional work may occur outside regular hours based on deadlines or campaigns.

Internal: Chief Growth & Strategy Officer, Senior VP of Marketing and Digital Strategy, Director of Digital Marketing ,Corporate Directors of Marketing, , General Managers, Marketing Curators, Revenue Management Teams, Sales Teams
External: Agency partners (Lotus, Percepture, MDS), Expedia and OTA representatives, Koddi platform support, brand digital teams (Marriott, Hilton), media vendors
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field required; Master's degree or MBA preferred
Experience:
  • Minimum 8-10 years of digital marketing experience in the hospitality industry, with 3-5 years in a senior or leadership role
Expertise:
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, SEM, web content strategy, UX optimization, paid media strategy, and website analytics
  • Proven experience managing Koddi or similar metasearch platforms; understands bid strategy, performance optimization, and reporting
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics (including GA4), tag managers, and CMS platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple agency relationships, set clear KPIs, and hold partners accountable
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills and a performance marketing mindset
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
  • Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods
  • Effective verbal and written communication across departments and vendors
  • Ability to travel periodically for on-site needs (10-20%)
  • Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs. (e.g., marketing materials or devices)
