Akkodis is seeking a Development Quality Engineer for a contract job with a client in Pleasanton, CA. This role is responsible for leading design control deliverables and supporting risk management activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
Rate Range: $36/hour to 38/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Development Quality Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Lead and support design control activities to ensure timely and compliant completion of product development deliverables.
- Develop and maintain risk management documentation, including hazard analyses, FMECA, and cybersecurity assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and verify product/system requirements and validation protocols.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining Design History Files (DHF) and supporting labeling verification processes.
- Review and approve document change requests and support continuous improvement of quality systems and processes.
- Apply structured problem-solving techniques to identify, prioritize, and resolve quality issues throughout the product lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- 0-2 years in a quality or product development role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Advanced computer skills and strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and documentation effectively.
Pay Details: $36.00 to $38.00 per hour
