SUMMARY
This position is responsible for advocating and implementing streamlined document control as well as assisting the quality assurance department in all Cambridge Technologies Manufacturing processes in support of maintaining USDA compliance as well as all internal Quality Standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advocating, streamlining and implementing all aspects of document control.
- Creating and Updating documents per requirements, monitoring compliance of documents, circulating documents, responsible for proper storage of documents, and auditing of documents.
- Review and approving manufacturing documentation and supporting information.
- Assists in providing USDA-CVB with required Final Product data and disposition.
- Ensures a daily presence on the manufacturing floor to support compliance requirements as well as promote a positive Quality Culture.
- Assist in conducting internal audits and self-inspections.
- Assist during Regulatory Inspections.
- Assist in creating improved or new forms necessary for documenting manufacture activities.
- Conducts data entry in support of data collection/review of material/product information as well as internal performance metrics.
- Develops, collects and reports Quality performance metrics as needed.
- Participates in the identification and implementation of all continuous process improvement activities.
- Complies with internal safety requirements; and will promote safety in all work areas.
- Acts within the guidelines established by company policy and delegated authority.
- Accountable for complying with the Company Handbook and all policies set by the company and USDA.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3+ years' experience in quality role in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of QMS systems.
- Previous document control experience preferred.
- Computers - firm proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Read and interpret various documents.
