About the Role

We are looking for a Customer Account Supervisor to lead a high-performing account management team serving customers in the industrial and manufacturing sector . This role blends leadership, mechanical aptitude, and a customer-first approach to ensure smooth daily operations, resolve complex customer needs, and drive retention and growth.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of account managers to achieve performance goals.
  • Provide training, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Support the team with escalated customer issues and complex order challenges.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Partner with customers to provide tailored solutions for their business needs.

Operational Oversight

  • Review and approve quotes and orders for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee the order entry and fulfillment process to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to meet and exceed service expectations.

Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
  • Monitor KPIs and service levels to ensure departmental goals are met.
  • Actively contribute ideas to enhance quality and customer experience.

Requirements

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2–4 years of technical customer sales or account management experience.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude; comfortable in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and phone presence.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to motivate and develop a team.
