Therolewill work with internal and external developers responsible for the development andsubsequentsupport of the various platform services components underpinning all the customer facing applications across Norstella. As part of a large technology group, theperson in this rolewill work with product management,architectureand other software engineering teams in support of the product development roadmap.

n

We are looking for an experiencedindividualwithgreat communicationskills, deep experience in software engineering, and most importantly, the ability and willingness to keep learning in this ever-changing technology landscape.

Education:Minimumbachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering or related field of study, or equivalent experience

Key Requirements:

  3+ years in Software Engineering

  n
n
• n

  1+ years hands-on experience working with cloud technology (preferably AWS), and various AWS services like Lambda functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS etc.

  n

  Experience with service-oriented and/or microservices architecture

  n
n
• n

  Proficiencyin designing,implementingand scaling APIs (REST/JSON)

  n
n
• n

  Experience with “Test First” (TDD) software development process

  n
n
• n

  Proficiencyin modern programming languages likeNode.js,C#, Python, Java,.NET

  n

• n

  Experience with Agile development and delivery – Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban methodologies

• n

  Hands on DevOps experience –Azure Dev Ops,Terraform, Serverless, AWS Cloud Formation, CI/CD in AWS, Security groups, auto scaling etc, Git/GitHub, Monitoring, Log Analytics

  Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases like PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MySQL etc is a big plus

  Expeirencewith Data Structures, Algorithms, and general Computer Science concepts
