Senior Security Engineer

within the AGI Security team, you will be essential in ensuring that our large language models and applications uphold the highest security standards, which is vital for maintaining customer trust. You will face a wide variety of security challenges, from addressing novel threats in Generative AI to implementing robust features like key management solutions and encrypted storage. Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting threat modeling and ensuring effective security controls are in place for AGI models, applications, and infrastructure. Influencing development teams to enhance security ownership, encouraging innovative approaches for faster and scalable security practices. Creating and maintaining comprehensive security documentation, including design patterns and secure software development kits (SDKs). Simulating adversarial attacks against AGI infrastructure to identify weaknesses. Contributing to the development of automated security tools for Generative AI detection and mitigation. Identifying actionable and scalable mitigations for vulnerabilities and collaborating with AGI product and engineering teams to prioritize resolutions. Mentoring aspiring security engineers through one-on-one sessions and office hours. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information security, or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in security engineering. Experience with Large Language Model (LLM) security, including attack techniques and mitigation methods. 3+ years of programming experience in Python, Java, C++, or a similar language. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with multimodal Generative AI systems and their associated security challenges. Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving abilities in a dynamic environment. A keen interest in researching and developing new technologies with a significant customer impact. Compensation varies across US geographic markets, with a base pay ranging from $143,300 to $247,600, depending on skills and experience.
