As a Warehouse Order Selector, you'll play an essential role in our Sysco warehouse, ensuring foodservice venues receive their orders efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Perform physical tasks including operating an electric pallet jack and/or forklift. Organize and palletize products to fulfill customer orders. Contribute to various other tasks as needed. This position requires adaptability to varying temperature and humidity levels based on the products being selected (including non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen goods). Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. No prior relevant work experience necessary. Must frequently lift items weighing between 10 and 75 lbs, with some items up to 100 lbs. Ability to reach up to 72 inches and work in a dynamic environment. Willingness to work in extreme temperatures (coolers and freezers). Capable of being on your feet for 10 to 12 hours each day. Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift. 1 year of experience in a warehouse, military, or similar physically active job. 1 year of experience in order selection is a plus. A consistent work history of at least 2 years is preferred.
