We are seeking a highly versatile Senior Data Architect to join our Digital Identity & Fraud Engineering team. As a Senior Technologist, you will define the technical direction of our products, ensure appropriate technology use, and lead initiatives that add customer value and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with enterprise teams to align technical decisions with our product architecture and mentor team members to develop their capabilities. Responsibilities Design secure, scalable, and cost-effective data architectures, leading the adoption and integration of AWS/Azure services, and collaborating with data engineers to prepare data for modeling. Assess and promote data management technologies and practices to bridge gaps between current and targeted future states. Develop strategic plans to improve data integration, quality, and delivery supporting business initiatives. Evaluate architectural trade-offs to recommend optimal solutions that meet technical requirements. Mentor and develop staff, fostering technical skills and empowerment. Work with customers and development teams to enhance data value across the organization. Lead innovative technology solutions by staying abreast of emerging trends. Share project outcomes to improve future delivery. Skills and Experience Over 12 years of proven experience with on-premises and cloud data management, integration, visualization, and analytics technologies. Expertise in end-to-end data architecture including ingestion, storage, and relational modeling using SQL and Python. Proficiency in designing modern data architectures using cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), real-time data distribution tools (Kafka, Kinesis, DataFlow, Airflow), NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, HBase, CosmosDB), GraphQL, and data warehouse platforms (Snowflake, DataBricks). Strategic thinking to align architectural decisions with customer needs. Ability to evaluate and recommend data governance practices, including MDM, security, privacy, and policies.
