The Salesforce Development Lead will be responsible for owning and enhancing a world-class CRM platform that supports our fundraising and investment teams globally across all strategies. The CRM platform provides a comprehensive solution to enhance collaboration and focused client strategy development, deliver management analytics and insights, and provide productivity tools to enhance investor relationships and investment decision-making. The Salesforce Development Lead will oversee a development team comprised of employees, consultants and third-party vendors. The role requires active collaboration with end user stakeholders in our investor-facing and investment teams, as well as within IT with our product management, data engineering, infrastructure/security and interfacing application teams. Responsibilities Lead the technical design and architecture discussions for Salesforce initiatives Manage day-to-day oversight of developer resources across multiple workstreams Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to developers, to ensure best practices and coding standards are followed. Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lighting Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications. Stay up to date on the latest Salesforce features and releases and implement new capabilities. Serve as primary point of contact for Salesforce application support and resolution. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Lead formal incident management process and root cause analysis. Manage and prioritize support queries, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for support processes, configurations, and customizations. Lead and participate in project planning, status meetings and reviewing requirements with developers. Qualifications At least 7-10 years professional experience, with experience managing and developing small to mid-size developer teams. Ability to demonstrate hands-on skills via Trailhead Superbadges, especially in Apex, Integration, LWC, and Automation Experience with the suite of Salesforce products across Sales, Service, Marketing, Portal, Data and Analytics/BI dashboards is preferred The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of Salesforce sales cloud, service cloud, standard objects, sharing settings, general configuration and setup menu. Strong expertise in Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components and Salesforce APIs. Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools. Proven experience of diagnosing issues from error codes, logging, de-bugging in process builder, workflows, apex, objects, FLS, etc. Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data management and best practices. Strong research and problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex issues Hands-on experience designing and developing Lightning Web Components Hands on experience with DevOps tools and practices for Salesforce development and deployment. Familiarity with waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Independent thinker and self-starter with proven ability to execute in complex, sophisticated and fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity of CI/CD processes and tools for Salesforce Solid understanding of and experience with ETL tools like the Informatica cloud and/or Mulesoft Experience with relational databases, including work with SOQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or other common RDBMS.
