Job Description: Employer: Pulse Network LLC Job Title: Application Engineer (multiple openings) Location: Houston, TX Type: Full Time Responsibilities: Analyze, design, code, test, and deploy new user stories and product features with high quality (security, reliability, operations). Understand the software development lifecycle and leverage critical thinking to evaluate features. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permitted according to company policies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in an Application Engineer role or similar. Skills Needed: Experience in Object-oriented programming (Java, Python, OCP), testing tools (JMeter, SoapUI), SOAP web services, SpringBoot, relational databases (SQL, Oracle, AWS), Kafka, Agile/Scrum/Waterfall methodologies, Linux server management, scripting (Bash, Python). Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program. Pay Range: $103,210 to $150,200, plus incentives. Compensation may vary based on location, experience, education, and skills.
