Engineering - Dallas - Associate, Software Engineering - 631813 Location: Dallas, Texas, United States Job Duties: Associate, Software Engineering with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, Texas (Multiple positions available). Develop, enhance, support, and maintain the firm's software solutions to support its global businesses. Design and implement high-quality, scalable, and thoughtful technology solutions leveraging both internal and open-source services. Assist in requirements gathering, user story refinement, development, testing (unit, integration, and regression), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment. Collaborate with internal teams to develop solution designs. Identify new external technologies that can transform our financial businesses and internal platforms in innovative ways. Work across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to meet internal and regulatory requirements. Design, implement, and maintain robust testing suites to ensure safe, complete, and scalable solutions across business lines. Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, with one (1) year of experience in a related software engineering role; or Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in the same fields with two (2) years of relevant experience. Prior experience must include at least one (1) year (with a Master's) or two (2) years (with a Bachelor's) of experience in: C++ or Java Full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and support Building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented enterprise applications within Unix environments Programming technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, or Kafka Relational database management systems like Sybase or Oracle Microservices architecture, including REST, Spring, or other back-end technologies Database query languages, including SQL or NoSQL technologies like MongoDB Benefits: We offer a wide range of health and welfare programs, including medical, dental, disability insurance, life insurance, and travel accident coverage.
