Job Description Responsibilities: Senior-level research, design and development of computer software systems. Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Provide design recommendations and options, develop and integrate programs per specifications. Assist in researching and adopting new and emerging technologies, evaluate new tools, technologies and platforms for projects. Define scope of multiple complex projects. Estimate effort required for own work, check and agree on other team members' estimates. Plan work for assigned team, including work breakdown, accurate estimates, and solution options. Present project status updates to management and senior managers. Ensure modules are developed using disciplined processes, adhering to industry standards and best practices. Work with vendors to understand technology and perform technical due diligence on third-party technology delivery. Qualifications Requirements: 8+ years of software engineering experience. Strong experience with Elastic Search (Lucene), including full-text search and indexing, in an enterprise environment requiring high scalability and performance. Excellent technical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of various software design patterns and ability to apply them appropriately. Proficiency in RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, etc. Experience with .NET 3.5/4.0, WCF, WWF, WPF, and Silverlight. Ability to work well across different teams (Product Management, Developers, QA, Operations). Must Have: Looking for an Elastic Search GURU, preferably with experience working on C# and Elastic Search.
