Are you passionate about empowering government entities to achieve their missions through innovative cloud solutions? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect (SA) to support our State and Local Government customers with cloud architecture guidance and implementations.
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will:
Provide trusted technical guidance aligned with customer missions, steering them towards optimal technical solutions.
Collaborate with AWS teams to meet business and revenue objectives.
Develop and share technical content including workshops, templates, and insightful blog posts.
Convene customer feedback, mentor fellow SAs, and contribute to scaling our business.
This role is based in Sacramento, CA, and may involve up to 30% travel.

Job Qualifications: 8+ years in technology disciplines such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, and data analytics. 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing or consulting on applications and infrastructure. Proven communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive audiences. Preferred Qualifications: Experience architecting and operating solutions on AWS. Experience in migrating or modernizing legacy solutions to the cloud. Our compensation package reflects labor market conditions across various US regions, with base salaries ranging from $138,200 to $239,000, based on experience and qualifications.
