Join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services (ProServe) team as an Application Modernization Delivery Consultant. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with customers to design, implement, and manage innovative AWS solutions tailored to their technical needs and business goals. As a crucial part of our team, your expertise will drive customer success throughout their cloud journey, where you will apply best practices during the entire project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions customized for each customer. Provide ongoing technical guidance and troubleshooting support during project delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and recommend effective migration strategies. Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions. Lead the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks. Share your knowledge within the organization through mentoring and creating reusable materials. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience delivering application architecture/design/modernization projects, including cloud solutioning (AWS or equivalent), with a focus on AI and automation. 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices. Preferred Qualifications: AWS experience preferred, with a proficiency in various AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation). AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred. Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python). Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences. Experience managing large software development and modernization initiatives, with expertise in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, Microservices) and Generative AI tools/technologies. Proven ability in delivering software engineering best practices across testing, source control, code reviews, and deployment management processes. This position will remain open until filled.
