Job Description: The Security team is seeking an enthusiastic Security Application Tester who will evaluate applications for security compliance. The successful candidate will have experience with Enterprise Applications and Information Security. The scope includes software used internally to run the business, such as web services, line of business applications, mobile, or cloud applications. Responsibilities include ensuring all applications meet enterprise security standards and escalating deviations when necessary. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with team members and stakeholders are essential. Essential Functions: Perform security, compliance, and risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle using SDLC, Waterfall, or RUP methodologies. Support security reviews of new technologies, designs, and remediation planning. Identify security needs, recommend solutions, and implement security improvements. Coordinate with various internal and external groups such as billing, application support, engineering, legal, and risk management. Manage the security policy lifecycle including review, approval, and communication. Support security projects initiated by internal and external groups. Conduct static and dynamic vulnerability assessments using industry tools and manual reviews. Identify and remediate OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities. Maintain a strong understanding of Information Security principles and behaviors. Translate security policies into understandable language for technical and non-technical audiences. Analyze and resolve security challenges methodically. Collaborate effectively within and outside the team to enhance solution quality and efficiency.
