We are currently seeking a Production Designer focused on leading production artwork design and development activities from final concept design through to packaging commercialization, and supporting the Marketing and Sales teams with various creative deliverables.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the execution of packaging production artwork development and projects, creating print-ready artwork files or labels based on specs and/or initial concept designs Manage and execute the pre-production proof artwork approval process Work cross-functionally to communicate specifications or changes Determine quoting, finishes, and color builds Establish quality standards and targets of packaging print quality across the product portfolio Lead and own management of packaging proof archive, color standards library, and production artwork source file database. Lead and own proofing process – flowing artwork proofs through cross-functional teams (regulatory, formulation, and creative) Manage and execute packaging artwork changes of current production product packaging. Create planogram ready physical mockups for all sales line reviews. Test print near final artwork for design reviews Work with sales to aid in deck creation – formatting design, perfecting information based off spec sheets/product sell sheets. Manage and maintain a digital asset library of all product photography for ecommerce platforms This role requires 3 days/week in office and may require up to 30% travel QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years of experience in graphic design for print and packaging within consumer packaged goods industry Strong working knowledge of print production methods across packaging materials and substrates Experience working with a team to execute displays 3D rendering/modeling experience preferred Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset with strong attention to detail and high level of operational organization Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with internal and external business partners Self-starter with a strong sense of follow up and ability to prioritize competing priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills

with the ability to represent the brand well

SALARY AND BENEFITS Duke Cannon offers a competitive market salary and bonus based on role and professional experience. The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000.
