Senior Software QA Engineer CCB exp. Houston, Texas, United States

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Software QA Engineer with expertise in Oracle CCB systems to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our software solutions by designing and implementing effective test strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and create effective test strategies. Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing on CCB platforms to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction. Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools, and work closely with the development team for resolution. Automate test cases where applicable to streamline and enhance testing efficiency. Analyze test results, report findings, and provide recommendations for improvements to enhance software quality. Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to align QA efforts with development timelines. Ensure adherence to quality assurance best practices and industry standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Software QA Engineer, with a strong focus on CCB systems. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Java, Python) is a plus. Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, or similar. Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
