Google Cloud Engineer - System Integrator

Key Responsibilities: Lead the architecture, setup, and configuration of a new GCP environment. Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategy, project requirements, and technical goals. Design and implement foundational GCP services (e.g., Identity and Access Management, networking, billing, security, monitoring). Establish CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation for deployment. Migrate workloads and data from on-premise or other cloud platforms to GCP. Develop security policies and best practices for access control, data protection, and compliance. Create documentation, runbooks, and training materials for internal teams. Provide guidance on cost optimization, scalability, and high availability within GCP. Support knowledge transfer and upskilling of internal IT/engineering teams Skills/Must have: Proven experience standing up GCP environments from scratch in a professional setting. Strong knowledge of core GCP services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, VPC, IAM, Cloud Monitoring, etc. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred).
